Why doesn't Jagex take moparscape down it's a copyright isn't it?

MoparScape doesn't go against the original runescape terms of agreement so it is legal in all ways. There have been many private servers shut down in the past, but when RuneScape switched to HD using a new engine they stopped shutting down old sources. New 508 private servers are being shut down and they do take action though.

Is moparscape legal?
it is illegal. jagex hunts down people that downloads them and ip bann them. it gives you a virus.it is so new that no anti virus can detect it. so play it or download it. It doesnt give you a virus i have played on diffrent computers and downloaded clients for servers-bottom line-No Virus

Answer: yes and no only if the server does not put in their trems and conditions that the user can not be a jagex member Answer: I am quite sure that if it is an almost exact copy of RuneScape, then it is a copyright violation, and can be shut down.

It wont and that is really good because jagex sued them for copyright laws and shut it down yay because they were illegal copys of runescape

FroogleScape is a very bad version of runescape, with cheats. I could be wrong, but if I'm not mistaken they were sued by Jagex because of the copyright laws, and the site was shut down.
