Try double-clicking it. If you can see the program icon (application) then clicking or double-clicking should open it.
Click on the program's Properties menu. Then click on Details tab. This will show you which version of Windows Movie Maker you have installed on your machine.
If you have a PC (personal computer) and not a MAC, you already have Windows Movie Maker on it. If you have Windows 7 as your OS (operating system), then you have Windows Live Movie Maker, an Essential product. To find the version of Movie Maker you have, and to open the program, click on the Start Orb and type Windows Movie Maker in the Search bar. The program icon should appear in the list that is generated. Click on the icon to open your Movie Maker.

In Windows Movie Maker, click on Import. Browse for and locate the audio file you wish to use and click Import.

Right click on file, click open with Windows Movie Maker Project, Add clips and edit by deleting unwanted parts add music and click on DVD to save the movie in the format playable by Windows Media Player.

Windows Movie Maker is not found in the Documents folder.
