pull the lever back to the "H" position. if it doesnt shift put your truck in reverse and pull back about a foot or so then put it back in drive and it should work. if all that fails it is broke. come to a complete stop, then put it in neutral and it should knock right out of low. If that doesnt work try reverse. answer if that doesnt work, unlock the front hubs then put in high, doesnt mean it is broke as first answer suggests

I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500HD ext cab 4x4 long box. My brake lights work on the truck but they do not work on the right side of the trailer plug on the truck.
