I'm not exactly great with cars, but I think I may know the answer to this one. If, during the warm weather, it is on the more humid side, your gears may simply be sticking, and the warm weather might also cause the gears to expand slightly. Hopefully this is a little helpful!
the water is too cold
I have no idea but mine does the same thing. Shifting into 3rd gear I guess 80 -100km/h in cold weather only. As soon as it heats up it shifts fine. The sportage is programmed not to shift to 3rd until the engine is at least 155 degrees
batteries are rated for cranking amps and cold cranking amps.. in warm or hot conditions your engine oil is also warm and not thick so your batteries do just fine.. now in cold weather conditions your engine oil is thick so your battery doesnt have the potential to crank the engine
if its cold out your gear oil is just very thick which makes it hard to shift once the car gets going it should be fine
800 to 900 CCA will be fine and alot better in cold weather.
Skiing weather is when it is snowing slightly, or it is cold but not to cold. OH, and be sure to be careful.
actually it doesnt matter, heres the deal when it warm (the rice) that means it was just made by the sushi chef and its very fresh, if its cold that means it was in a cold area! sooo, both ways are fine !!!
yes it would be fine unless its really cold weather outdoors.

Check for fuel pressure and spark on the no start days.
Well, in Romania the weather changes according to the season. For example, in the winter it can get really-really cold but in summer it's kind of hot.But in spring and autumn the weather is fine and pleasent except for the usual rain. :)
Yes, that is how you know that the battery is "strong" enough to start your car in cold weather. A battery in warm weather may have enough amps to start the car fine, but in cold weather, it wouldn't be able to crank it fast enough. A car battery efficiency drops off the colder it gets.
