PowerISO is not supported on Ubuntu. There are a multitude of programs that can do the same thing as well as or better than PowerISO, available for free in Ubuntu's repository.
A search in YouTube will turn up several tutorials on mounting ISO. Most will also identify some of the most popular programs for mounting ISO, such as Daemon Tools or PowerISO.
If PowerISO is not reading a file, ensure that the file format is supported by the software, as it primarily works with ISO, BIN, and other disk image formats. Check if the file is corrupted by attempting to open it with another program or checking its integrity. Additionally, ensure that you have the latest version of PowerISO installed and that your system meets any necessary requirements. Finally, consider running PowerISO as an administrator or reinstalling the software if issues persist.
There are many different functions PowerISO can perform. Some of there are creating ISO files for burning DVDs and CDs, mounting ISO files to virtual DVD drives, and burning CDs and DVDs.
