It should switch on and off automatically, if it is not it is stuck and needs to be replaced.
Make sure you have it out of AUTO LIGHTS ON. Do the lights automatically come on when the car is started? If so, the Auto Lamp switch may be on.

It regulates the temperature of the water in the radiator and tells the fan when to switch on to start cooling or to switch off if its too cool. Engines have an optimum running temperature, and the Thermostat helps keep it at that.
Some heat styling tools automatically turn off it you dont use them for a while for safety reasons, so if you dont want it to turn off, i suggest flipping the switch off then on quickly so that you get more time. the only other thing i can think of is to get a flatiron that doesnt turn off!

It doesnt say anywhere in the description of the item that is has an automatic off switch but I myself bought one by the same maker a few months back and it did not come with an automatic off switch.
There is no "switch" to to turn it on and off manually. It is operated by a temperature sensor relay and turns on and off automatically as needed.
Set your light switch to "auto" on the dash and your lights will come on automatically with the ignition. Turn your light switch on your dashboard to "auto" or "automatic" and the lights will come on and off with your ignition switch.
Auto cooling is turning on and off automatically to maintain a constant temperature set on a thermostat.
