Lots of reasons, but the most common is a broken blend door. This door regulates whether air is diverted through the heater core or not. When it breaks, it can block air flow and cause a loss of heat(or AC, depending on the position it fails in). Check heatertreater.net for diagnostic and repair information.
I have a 2004 Ford Explorer and the heat does not work, but when i try to turn the control valve to heat it makes a clicking noise. How do i fix it?
yes it will still work if you get cold air your heater core could be pluged or the coolant is low
it doesnt work, it breaks it doesnt work, it breaks it doesnt work, it breaks
could be head gasket problem. does your heater work? might need heater core , clogged up. do compression test. or bypass heater core and see if that works.
no
power door lock actuator is broken and not letting the key raise the lock button
why doesnt my heater work on my1985 BMW
Replace it. This is probably a sign of badly worn bearings that make it difficult for the motor to spin.
