possible the guy that did the oil change bumped a vaccum hose on the cruise control canister and broke it or knocked it off.

most cruise control problems are caused by a leaking vaccum canister that controls the throttle on the cruise, your switch is probably fine.

I don't know about a reset, but there is a Fuse identified as CRUISE (Cruise Control Steering Column Controls) located in the Driver's Side Instrument Panel Fuse Block. See page 5-95 in your "Owner's Manual" for details.....
