Why doesn't my turn signal blink on a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis?

First, check all of the bulbs. If one of the blinker bulbs in burnt out it will cause it not to blink on the side where the bulb is located.
You have a defective Flasher Relay. Located behind left side of instrument panel.
