Why communism doesn't work?

Communism has never been perfected. As the saying goes, no one is perfect, and under a communist government, the government controls everything, but the President (or whatever the communist state decides to call it) controls all aspects of the government. History shows that there has never been one man that could rule an entire nation without fault, especially when there is no private ownership of business. Even back in Rome, during Ceasar, there were private enterprises.

Communism doesn't work because under communism, people are all treated equally and everyone is given the same amount of things. This destroys the people's motivation to work. It's not because every communist nation so far has been a Dictatorship. A communist nation can also be a democracy.
