No Spark. Remove plug, hold tip of plug against motor housing metal. Have someone pull cord and observe if you have spark. No Fuel to Cylinder. Remove air filter housing open choke and throttle, spray some fuel into carb. port and pull cord Engine should run for awhile. If it does you will have to make sure there is no water in tank and that you are getting fuel from tank if so you will need to remove the carb. clean and repair. Plugged Exhaust. Muffler sometimes gets insects in ports and sometimes the screens get carbonized. To little compression. This can normally give you a good by looking in the exhaust port while the muffler is off and noticing if there are any bad scratches on the piston, if so you probably have compression problem. There are many other reasons but these are the most likely.

i bought a weed eater used so i dont have the manual and the last owner told me that the trimmer doesnt need the mix of gas and oil i wanna know if that is right? thank you for the help...
