Yes! it is the day that Jesus rose from the dead! Although many religions disagree with celebrating Easter because the Catholic church incorporated pagan practices/symbols into it...the Easter bunny with the eggs represents the goddess of fertility. It also teaches christians about foriveness and love and sacrifice.
The majority of Christians do celebrate Christmas. But there are some Christians who don't celebrate Christmas because they believe it is a Pagan festival that was "adopted" by the church. They believe that Jesus could not have been born in December, because the "shepherds watched their flocks by night", meaning that when Jesus was born it was warm in the evening. So it must have been a warmer season than winter.
The Bible says that we shouldn't mix our worship of God with Pagan practices, which is why some Christians don't celebrate any holidays like Christmas, birthdays, easter etc. because these all have Pagan origins.
Christians should celebrate christmas because
jesus birth was celebrated in the bible by:
angels lk.2:8-14
shepherds lk.2:15-20
wise men mt.2:1-11
the angels came from heaven praising god for
sending baby jesus into the world to save us
from our sins
the shepherds went to bethlehem and praised
god for sending baby jesus into the world
the wise men came from afar and fell down and
worshipped jesus and gave him gifts of gold,
frankincense, and myrrh
therefore i think all true christmas should
follow the way jesus birth was celebrated in
the bible
grace and peace from
god and jesus
