Why don't I feel the same way about the person I was so in love with?

You were never really in love with the person. The person may have had a "facade" when you two first started dating and now you can see right through it since you have been dating for a while. You never knew the real person so you were never really given the opportunity to fall in love with that person. Or maybe there are some flaws in that person or your relationship you did not notice before. You could have just been more in love with an idea of being in a relationship rather than seeing what you were really getting into.
