Sometimes your periods are late or non-existent on the birth control pill. If you have missed pills or are concerned you can take a pregnancy test. Missing Birth Control pills will decrease the effectiveness of them preventing you from becoming pregnant. The birth control pills will not make the pregnancy test come up positive.

∙ 13y agoYou may not get a period during the placebo week/sugar pills, either because your birth control did not give you a period because of the hormones, or you may be pregnant. Pregnancy typically occurs when you do not get a period. If you do not take your birth control pills everyday at the same time you will increase your chances of becoming pregnant.

Yes, if these green pills represent the placebo/sugar pills, then your period will start during the time you are taking the green pills. If you do not get a period during this week, you should consult with your physician. You may need to take a pregnancy test.
Your period usually comes during the placebo pills week(sugar pills).
Hi :-) Yes, this is normal. There is no time limit for when you start your period during the sugar pills. As long as you start your period during the seven day worth of sugar pills then this is normal.
It would be pointless. The sugar pills do not contain anything in them to keep you from getting pregnant. The placebos (or sugar pills) are there as "reminders" to keep you in the habit of taking them and so when you know to start a new pack. The sugar pills are not needed during your period, that's why they are sugar pills. If you take the placebos when you are supposed to be taking the "active" ones, they are inaffective and you might as well not be taking them at all.
Your period would probably not come until your 3rd or 4th sugar pill. If you started taking the pills on the Sunday before your period did that period come?
Yes, you will still have your period if you don't take the sugar pills. The pills have no effect on your cycle. They are like a place holder to keep you in the habbit of taking your pills at the same time every day.
Continue taking your birth control pills as scheduled.
As long as you did not skip any of the "active" pills in the packet, you are protected from pregnancy every day - including the week of your period and while taking the "inactive" sugar pills. Start your new packet on schedule.
It's normal for bleeding to start during the sugar pills. You should take your new pack on schedule regardless of bleeding.
well it depends, if your pack is mostly pink pills then you should not have your period during this time.. however sometimes you may have some spotting, this is normal... if the pink pills are the lesser amount in your pack then those are you sugar pills.. if you just started taking the pills it may take 2-3 months until you are regular and get your period during them
You just won't have a period. but don't do that too often.
As soon as you start your sugar pills on the new pack, or a little after you start taking the sugar pills.
