Muslims use all kinds of paints like other religions. This can easily be seen in Islamic arts. Although some Islamic buildings are indeed devoid of colourful paintings such as in some churches, but this is solely for proting simplicity. Other than that Islamic art is also full of rich colours like arts of other religions and cultures.
