Why don't my Buick regal Dash lights odometer will not turn on but all other dash lights work?

This is a common problem on regals .There are resistors on a circuit board behind the instrument cluster that are loose or burnt out. Getting to them is tricky , there was or is a video on YouTube describing the procedure , the resistors are about $1 at radio shack for a 5 pack. They must be soldered to the circuit board . I had to replace 7 resistors that were loose. The original resistors were very small and poorly soldered. My gear indicator lights and odometer numbers did not light .
