Why don't people think that 9 years old is the right age for joining a program in WikiAnswers?

In my opinion - Probably because the majority of nine-year-old's are not mature enough to participate sensibly in the programs. That's not to say every nine-year-old is immature, but it's unlikely at that age they will have the communication and reasoning skills necessary.
Note that Federal Law in the US makes it illegal to share personal data of someone under the age of 13. Most sites restrict users to be at least 13 because of this.

Some people joke around with their answers, but some people don't. You never know when it is right but most likely, if an answer sounds correct, it is.

You must remember that WikiAnswers depends on people like you and us to give the answers so they might not always be right.

WikiAnswers is not always right because we can put in any answer we want. So it doesn't matter if the answer is factual, for at least it's on there.Because the answer are being answered by mainly people, not computers' operators.That's a put downer
