Why don't unbelievers get judged right away after they die?

A:Only believers get judged. Christians get judged by their God, Zoroastrians by Ahura Mazda, and so on. Atheists do not get judged because they know there is no God, and no judgement.

For every person of whom you inquire on this, believers and un-believers alike, a different "belief" or personal understanding abounds in their heart and mind.

The Bible points to future resurrections of the dead unto "Judgment" at the end of God's plan that it calls the "Last Great Day." [the dead, whom the Bible tells us, are presently unconscious; calling death 'sleeping' -- the dead who know not anything' - Eccle.9:5]

But most of the deceived modern professing Christian denominations... as well as most other religions in the world ignore the Bible and believe and teach something along the common line, that everyone is judged "immediately" upon death and "immediately" sentenced to heaven or hell [or someplace like them, or some other afterlife, entirely], in which [in their minds] even the poor unsuspecting atheists get caught up, who have their own "beliefs" and were minding their own business, and supposed that they were just going to be dead forever.

God tells us: "...the living know that they shall die..." (Eccle.9:4).

The living "believe" different things based on the 'physical data' fed into their minds by their five deceptive physical senses, which their varying degrees of intellect processes, collates and stores into the memory files of their minds.

Everyone is different... and everyone's idea about the subject of "life and death" is also as different as the way the data their mind receives is processed and remembered.

Everyone "knows that they shall die" -- but without a person's "belief" in God's Divinely revealed knowledge regarding death, found in His Word [which He says is 'Truth' - John 17:17] -- it's every man for himself in the area of how his mind processes death and what happens after.
