Because most guys think that there is too much temptation in his life to be faithful to you in a long distance relationship. I've always thought that this long distance question would bring out the true feelings of a person on both sides of the relationship. If either one shows hesitation then the love isn't very strong in the relationship. But you have to give credit to the guy for being honest and not saying it will be easy, then 3 months down the road you find out he is cheating. You should thank him for saving you the heart break.
