sometimes because there're bad memories of you doing something you could get in big trouble with and you can't stop thinking about it because you feel really guilty, or its a happy memory and you like to think about it

∙ 15y agoThey dont wont too !! Because sometimes the thing that happened in the past with their friends, family, romantic relationships hurt them really badly. Some people do let go of things but other people it might take a while or they will never let go of it. It really depends on what kind of situtation and who was involved with it. like if it was family, yeah they will let go of it, but with friends and romantic relationships it might either take a while to get over something or the person wont get over it and just ignore you the rest of their life. Sometimes it helps to talk about it, or at least try to, but again that depends on the person. Also some people just don't let go or get over things or other people because they still want some sort of connection to the thing or people even though they are hurt from the thing itself or person. This sort of reaction is often because they[ the person who won't let go] still cares for the person who hurt them and wants them in their life.
