Blown fuse, or defective flasher relay if all the bulbs are good.
They dont work. The bulbs are the most problems. Fix it!

Your gas gauge might not work on a 1978 Ford Fairmont because the cable is broken. Check the cable to ensure it is not broken or kinked. The other possibility here is that you have a bad fuel sending unit.
the hazard switch has two sets of contacts. when hazards turned on, blinkers cannot work,even if hazards dont work.for blinkers to work, hazard sw must be in off position-this reconnects blinker circuits to work normally. BUT-the contacts in the hazard sw get dirty and wont reconnect the blinkers to work

If you check the fuse circuit box, there is a fuse for your blinkers. Just change to the amp that is required which is probably a 20. Should work good as new again
