There are a couple reasons a girls' period may stop for a couple months. The obvious answer is pregnancy, but if that's not possible, eating disorders such as anoxeria can cause a girl to stop menstuating, along with FAS, also known as "Female Athelete Syndrome" caused by too much training/excersise and too little food.
