Most of the solar energy we get comes through radiation. So we get more energy via radiation, than conduction.
Sunlight or Solar Radiation is essentially photons, or packets of energy, emmited from the suns surface, which are able to travel through the vacuum of space at the speed of light. This comes to us in a range of wavelengths, including Visible light, Ultra violet and Infra red radiation.
Inside the Sun - in the core - energy is produced. This keeps the Sun hot, producing the radiation which we see.Inside the Sun - in the core - energy is produced. Heat from the sun reaches Earth by radiation. Convection involves air movement, so heat from a forced air furnace would be an example of convection, as would heat in a convection oven which is basically a regular oven with a fan to distribute the heat more evenly.
The ozone layer protects us from the radiation of sun. This radiation is called ultraviolet radiation and is very harmful.
By electromagnetic radiation - including visible light.

Radiation.
Energy, from the sun, reaches us in the form of electromagnetic radiation.

The energy travels from the sun through the form of radiation. We feel the UV part of that radiation, which transfers it's energy to our skin cells, which heat up as a result.
radiant energy is important to us because the sun is emittating radiation to the earth, through space
Mainly through radiation (electromagnetic waves, especially light).
Ozone
Electromagnetic energy from the Sun crosses the interplanetary void in about 8 minutes to reach Earth. The energy reaches us as electromagnetic radiation in a very wide range of wavelengths. Some of these wavelengths can be sensed directly by humans as heat and light. Some wavelengths (frequencies) are transformed by interaction with matter into other wavelengths that interact with the hydrosphere, biosphere, etc. to make life on Earth possible.
No. At least, sound and electricity doesn't reach us directly from the Sun. What we receive is the sunlight - light energy.
