Why has the psu on your iqon PC failed for the second time in 1 year?

If its the same PSU, then that's probably your answer. From experience I have found that you can fix a PSU but it will never be the same. If it fails once, then just get rid of it. I have never seen a repaired PSU last for more than a few months.
If it is a new PSU then one common mistake people make is putting a psu that isn't big enough to handle the graphics card and your sound card and your extra harddrive etc.. If you put in a good PSU (I find OCZ to be good) at about 800W then Id be very suprised if you ever had any more PSU problems. Oh BTW, iqon computers tend to be pretty crap anyway.
