Not all girl's do. It ranges from 3-7 days usually, but can be as extreme as a few hours to twenty five days. They last this long as your body has to break down all the lining in your womb that prepares for a baby. If this all came out in a few hours it would stretch your sex organs and be an uncontrollable flow of blood.
if yours i lasting non stop then i would advice you to speak to your gp or you doctor and if you have informed your mum of this she would probably recomend the same thing the average amount of time your period should last is around 2-4 day hope i have helped <3
It could simply be your own period. Periods are different for different women; perhaps you just have a heavy flow. I used to have pretty heavy periods lasting about a week and a half, so I eventually saw my doctor. She put me on a form of the Birth Control pill- even though I wasn't sexually active at the time, it gave me much lighter, shorter and genrally more manageable periods, and it also prevents all kinds of diseases, and of course, pregnancy. If you are used to significantly lighter periods, it would be a good idea to make an appointment with your doctor or gynecologist. This change could signal that something more serious is wrong; if she or he thinks so, they will probably run a few tests to find of exactly what. Either way, your best bet would be to go to the doctors. Good luck! :)
sometimes it will do that....its normal.....the cause may have been from your period not coming on schdule or from the amount of blood you've built up
sometimes your period mat last longer it depends on how much blood you have to pass but usually it lasts 5-7 days
My period has been on for 18 dys
You should get your next period , about a month from when you got your last period.

You have a period roughly every 28 days however it varies depending on each woman.

Yes
If you are having a period, you re not pregnant. You cannot be pregnant until after your last period.
It doesn't mean anything, it just means that your period happened to start on the last day of the month. When your periods start have nothing to do with the calendar date.
if the last period started on 28 December and this month on 24 January then which is the safe date to do intercource
Your menstrual cycle basically reset after you took the Plan B. Wait a month from your last period, not from your normal cycle.
Sometimes a woman's period is irregular. They could have their period one month, skip the next, then get it again. This happens more when women are just getting their period (more in teenage years)
If you're in the first 1-2 years of your period, it's normal. If not, call a doctor.
