On March 13 at Victory Road Jeff Hardy had a match against Sting for the World Heavyweight Championship. Throughout the match, Jeff seemed to be intoxicated and wasn't really paying attention to the match. Sting took advantage of this and got the win over Jeff Hardy, who after receiving a Death Drop from Sting couldn't manage a successful kick-out.
On the March 17 episode of Impact!, Immortal severed their ties with Hardy and he didn't show up at the event. There are rumors spreading that Jeff Hardy has been released from his TNA contract but I guess you'll just have to stay tuned with the real outcome of Jeff's career. In my opinion, I think Hardy is taking a break for a while, so he can get his head sorted out from all the beer and drugs that he does.
