because it is a proven medication that has theraputic value that effectively treats a variety of psychiatric disorders, namely bi-polar. yes it has side effects, as does every other drug in existence. if you are thinking that it should be taken off the market because a very limited number of people get high off it, then why aren't you writing about opiates like oxycontin, which is another drug that people abuse but is still on the market and not going anywhere.
if you mean it makes people fat and increases the risk of Diabetes, yeah it does that to, but so does lithium. guess you should ask the FDA to spend a few more million to approve a drug they're actually already trying to develop. wiki seroquel sometime
i have been on seroquel for years and the only side effect is it doesnt help me sleep anymore at 800mg
I know an older lady who is actually prescribed 40mg x 3 plus 200mg of Seroquel, but I would NOT recommend doing this. She has been taking these medications for years, and unless your doctor gives the okay, do NOT mix these. Seroquel will knock you on your ass, and not in a good way.
If it has been frozen in butcher paper and HASNT been taken out then it will be fine! Ive done it with a 5 year old one

it will make you really drowsy, but dont worry Ive taken it for some years now, and my doc has told me that at best, for bipolar and schizophrenia seroquel only starts being active around 300mg with a max dosage of around 600mg. Ive been all the way to 400mg, and it just makes you really tired.
