I had to replace head gaskets on my 2000 disco. It was expensive, but now there are no leaks whatsoever. John
intake gaskets are between the head and intake. head gaskets are between the head and the block..
Head gaskets need to be done.
Head gaskets, head gaskets, head gaskets
Head gaskets are supposed to last the life of the engine. There is no "care" specific to head gaskets.
There are ( 2 head gaskets ) one head gasket for each head on your V6 engine
I think you mean head "gasket" - not casket. This is the gasket that is placed between the engine block (bottom part of the engine) and the cylinder head. Your Disco has two heads, so two head gaskets, a left one and a right one.
You better change your head gaskets!!!
oil eh... cracked head gasket... take off the oil filler cap and look for emulsionized oil.. looks like mayonaisse good sign the head gaskets duff..
YES
general reasons head gaskets can go - head is warped, block is warped/not flat, block is steel and head is aluminum (Saab did this in 1972), so the metals expand/contract at different rates causing the gaskets to blow.
There are many gaskets on any car engine. If you are asking about head gaskets, they are between the cylinder head(s) and the engine block. The cylinder head is under the valve cover. --------------
