i used to have the same problem. it actually got worse as i got older.. it was 3 to 4 months without a period. It is not normal. i visited my gynocologist and had to take Birth Control pills to correct it. after 1 year on birth control i was able to stop taking them and my periods are now normal. It is important to have this checked out because now at 27 i am having problems conceiving. My doctor calls it ovarian desease. Hope that helps. That is just my experience.

You should check with your doctor to be absolutely certain, and consider if anything has changed in your life such as stress level, your diet, and your weight. It may be due to pregnancy but is not necessarily the case; so again, you should see your doctor.
