i used to have the same problem. it actually got worse as i got older.. it was 3 to 4 months without a period. It is not normal. i visited my gynocologist and had to take Birth Control pills to correct it. after 1 year on birth control i was able to stop taking them and my periods are now normal. It is important to have this checked out because now at 27 i am having problems conceiving. My doctor calls it ovarian desease. Hope that helps. That is just my experience.
