The correct answer is the "G" stands for what generation phone it is. 1G phones operated intirely on an analog signal. 2G begins to start use digital for data transmissions (textting) and transmissions are limited to 64kbps. 3G still uses 2 signals (one for voice another for data) and data speeds are much quicker. 4G is suppose to be much quicker and moves towards a more traditional VOIP, like having your home phone through your cable company, your phone calls are through the Internet. That's the simple explanation.
64Kbps, 3.1kHz audio transfer, 8kHz integrity
yes but it is slow it is in 2g speed only but it is better than the cost of 3g plans

no
2g*(2g)2 = (2g)3 = 8g32g*(2g)2 = (2g)3 = 8g32g*(2g)2 = (2g)3 = 8g32g*(2g)2 = (2g)3 = 8g3
2G introduced data services for mobile like SMS text message wich is irrelevant of it being cdma/gsm.
s
2G is GSM whereby each user has a defined time slot to access the base station whereas in 2.5G, also known as GPRS, it is the aggregation of time slots to create a data packet for a user. GPRS is the first step towards a mobile data service.
yes u can use any sim with a data connection 2g or 3g
Several times higher data transfer speed than 2G and 2.5G;Enhanced audio and video streaming due to better data transfer rate;Video-conferencing support. It works only if your mobile set supports it;Web and internet browsing at higher speeds;
