If a circuit is wired in parallel, all the bulbs have their own independent access to electricity, so if one bulb goes out, the others are not affected. If the circuit is wired in series, then one bulb going out will block the current to all the other bulbs as well.

Why do bulbs get fused?

because of the heat inside the bulb

How do you replace brake light bulb in spoiler on 2003 lancer oz?

The bulbs are LEDs (light emitting diode). It is a set of bulbs, fused together, you cannot change individual bulb. You can buy a set from any dealer or from the Internet and change it by yourself or you can go to a mechanic.

What happens to a parallel circuit if more bulbs are added?

Total power consumption increases with each bulb. The remaining bulbs continue to operate unchanged.

The current is 0.4 A and the bulb in the circuit is bright. What will happen to the brightness of the bulb if you put another bulb in series in the circuit?

ANSWER: The brightness of both bulbs will decrease. If the bulbs are identical the current will decrease to 0.2 Amps. This is a simple series resistive circuit, the more bulbs you add in series both the amperage and bulb brightness will continue to go down.

Why a bulb gets fused?

A bulb gets fused when short circuit occurs or high voltage passes

When a light bulb is broken in a parallel circuit what will the other light bulbs do?

They will continue to do what they were doing before the light bulb broke. If they were lit they will stay lit. If they were off they will stay off. This question could be improved by specifying that "the other light bulbs" are in that same circuit in which the broken light bulb was connected. Also, if the light bulb is broken in an inert atmosphere, it may well continue to burn.

What the filament of bulb is broken then it is called?

Fused bulb

What arrangements will allow the other bulb to continue glowing if one of the bulbs is removed?

parallel lighting (alternate routing)

How will a single burned-out bulb affect the string of lights if each light is attached to its own wire?

When bulbs are connected in series to one another, a failure of one bulb will open the circuit and the remaining bulbs in the line will go out because they have no power. However, bulbs in the line preceding the failed bulb will continue to be lit because their source of power has not been interrupted. When bulbs are connected in parallel, a failure of one bulb will have no effect the remaining bulbs because the power is not routed through any single bulb alone.

Why does a fused bulb does not light up?

A fused bulb does not light up asno current passes through its filament. by j.gayathri

What happens when a bulb gets fused?

When a bulb fuses the circuit is broken if it is on a serial circuit. If the bulb is on a parallel circuit, only the fused bulb will go out, any other bulb would remain lit. On a serial circuit, until the bulb is replaced by a new one, the circuit is not able to be used.

What happen in a parellel circuit when the light bulb burn out?

The other bulbs continue to glow, with the same power as before. The total current and power decreases by the amount lost to the one bulb.
