Radar comes from Radio Detection and Range. By definition, it uses radio waves.

Ultra sonic waves, very high frequency audio waves, are used in Sonar, the name being analogous to Radar.

Infra Sonic waves are of far too long a wavelength to be useful for any measurement of the distance of the target.

[And there are some technical reasons as well - not dealt with here.]

Why is ultrasonic not used in radar?

ultrasonic waves are not used but radio waves are used in radar technology because ultra sonic waves generally create an image out of the object while we have to confine our study to the geometrical measurements only

Waves that are used in radar?

Electromagnetic waves with a wavelength from a mm up to a few cm are used in radar. They will be reflected from a discontinuity in the electromagnet properties of space. e.g. a metal surface.
