Abraham is not so important to Christians.
But Abraham is a good example of a person who trusted God/had faith. He appears in the faith 'hall of fame' in the book of Hebrews in the New Testament:
Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
He was a good man
I am Pentecostal (Christian) and He isn't really that essential other than he was a believer I think..
I think Christians don't believe this.Hospices are important to all people not so important to Christians.
How is the Church important to the christians?
Muhammad, the founder of Islam, was a descendant of Abraham through Abraham's son (with his wife's servant), Shem.
Abraham was the christians father in faith and a person honored by the Muslims
Abraham Lincoln was so important because he abolished SLAVERY HE WAS SO AMAZING DO YOU PEOPLE REALIZE HOW IMPORTANT HE IS I MEAN SERIOUSLY HE WAS A GREAT GUY.WELL APPRECIATED TOO!
because of Abraham and its what they live by
Moses is the most important Jewish prophet
To Jews, Abraham was the founding Patriarch, while Jesus and Muhammad, although good men, were not important in their faith. To Christians, Jesus was the Son of God, while Muhammad was merely a man who sought to add his views to the religion. To some fundamentalist Christians, Muhammad was an imposter. To Muslims, Abraham and Jesus were great prophets, but Muhammad was the last and greatest of the prophets.
cos he was like the first ever jew. ;)
I don't know exactly what you mean by honor. But the Bible says that all Christians (Followers of Christ) are sons of Abraham. Hope that helps
No one worships Abraham, however, he is significant to Jews, Christians and Muslims. All three faiths can link themselves back to Abraham.
