Which "drain hose" are you referring to? Is it on the right side of motor, coming out of lower right side of radiator and going into engine? Or is it actually dripping onto skidplate underneath the motor on the right side? Many times the skidplate drip is actually coming out of the water pump weephole because the water pump impeller shaft seal is bad. I'm told it's a VERY common problem with the YFZ, and once fixed, it could last for 5 minutes or 5 years- one never knows.
There is a drain plug just below the lower radiator hose.
Drain the antifreeze.
you use a mirror and a flash light
Normally on the bottom of the radiator. You can always just remove the lower radiator hose to drain it.
the hose elbow coming out of the firewall is a drain for the heater core and/or the heater control valve. one of the two is must be leaking if antifreeze is dripping out
possibly a leaking heater core look for antifreeze dripping into the interior of the vehicle. usually it is the core or hose connected to the heater core.
It is in the bottom of the radiator but sometimes it is easier to remove the lower hose.
You have the drain the lower radiator hose, 6.0 liter do not have a drain valve.
you can either pull the hose for it or you can usually just open the drain plug on the radiator
AIR CONDITIONERS ARE SUPPOSED TO LEAK. ALL YOU CAN DO IS ATTACH A HOSE TO THE DRAIN AND RUN THE HOSE SOMEWHERE WHERE IT CAN SAFLEY DRAIN.
It sounds as if you are describing the air conditioniong system condensation drain hose. This is completely normal.
Bottom of radiator. If it has none then remove the lower radiator hose to drain the radiator.
