Is Inkheart a real book?

Yes, unique and very well written.Book description by Borders: "Description: One cruel night, Meggie's father reads aloud from a book called "Inkheart," and an evil ruler escapes the boundaries of fiction and lands in their living room. Suddenly, Meggie is smack in the middle of the kind of adventure she has only read about in books"vultrae:im only ten and i like it its so good! basta is so mean! One of the greatest books of all time(Except for Harry Potter.)Inkheart is a brilliant story filled with imagination an love. There are three books to the series, Inkheart, Inkspell, and Inkdeath. It is about a girl who lives with her father in a cluttered and unorganized household until they have to flee and head south from the evil Capricorn. Personally I think it's a little slow at the beginning, but it gets better towards the middle, so don't turn away from the book! :O-Misty Woods Library Reviews

What is a summary of chapter 4 in Inkheart?

This guy called Mo can read people/things out of books. Before he knew his talent he accidently read his wife into a book called 'inkheart' for capricorn, basta (the baddies!!) and dustfinger the fire-eater. One night dustfinger appears at Mo's and Meggie's (Mo's daughter) door. They need to go and fight capricorn. Capricorn wants mo to read money out of books for him so he does. Meggie discovers she too can read books in a 'magical' way. In the end Capricorn dies and Dustfinger still is in need of getting back into the book of 'Inkheart'. This is very breif. Read it and you'll find out everything else. It's an amazing book you NEED to read it!!- Hope this helps.

Why is the Inkheart trilogy so popular?

because they are such good book by Cornelia Funke!! i would know after all i wrote them!

Is Inkheart or inkspell a better book?

Well that depends on what you enjoy. I loved the entire Inkheart trilogy. Inkheart takes place in the real world, where Inkspell introduces many new characters and is set inside of the book Capricorn amd Dustfinger are from. Inkspell ends on a note of suspense, so one would have to read Inkdeath, the third installment of the series.

Is the shadow in Inkheart the book?

It was mention in one part of the book butit didnt say any thing about the the shawdow in the end of the book I mean if they did the book would have been so much better.

Is Inkheart the movie better or worse than the book?

Usually the books are better because they contain more details. So go and read the book first and then go see the movie.

How do you meet Bella Swan?

Well, shes a book character so that's entirely impossible. Unless you believe that stuffin Inkheart reLLY HAPPENS :)

Is there a fourth inkheart?

No, there is Inkheart, Inkspell, and Inkdeath. Inkdeath is the end of the trilogy. It's a triology so there are only three books.

Is the movie Inkheart about the little girl and a man having a book called Inkheart come to life?

YES AND IT ROCKS! I totally reccommend all the series!! Read it, and it might make more sense in the movie. The characters are: Meggie Folchart, Mortimer "Mo" Folchart, Dustfinger, Elinor Loredan, Farid, Fenoglio, Capricorn, Mortala, Basta, and Darius.MEGGIE: Mo's daughter, Elinor's great-niece. She, like her father, has the ability to read things out of books so they become real blood and flesh.MO: Meggie's father, Elinor's son-in-law. He has the same ability as Meggie. Capricorn goes after him so he can read out gold from stories.DUSTFINGER: from the book, Inkheart. He had been despratly trying to get back to his real home, and back to his wife, Roxanne (who only shows up in the book, I believe). He's a fire-dancer, which means he can control fire to bend at his whim.ELINOR LOREDAN: the classic book worm. She was never fond of Dustfinger. Meggie, Mo, and he (Dustfinger) go to her house to "fix Elinor's many books," when Mo is trying to hide Inkheart from Capricorn and Basta. She basically gets herself in an unneeded mess whens he doesn't give them (Capricorn and Basta) the right book.FARID: came out of one of the books Mo read to Capricorn. (shh, he's my favorite character) he falls in love with Meggie around the end of the first book, though I'm not sure if he does in the movie. He is Dustfinger's "pupil," you could say, considering he wants to become a fire-dancer as well.FENOGLIO: the author of Inkheart. He wrote something while in Capricorn's dungeon so Meggie could read, to kill Capricorn.CAPRICORN: evil villain from the book. he doesn't want to go back to the Inkworld, so he has Mo read him treasures untold from, "Treasure Island," and the book in which Farid comes from. Dies when Shadow (A creature Mo read out of a story that is a murderer that will kill you w/o warning) kills him because of what Fenoglio wrote and what Meggie read aloud.MORTALA: Capricorn's mother, though I'm not sure if she is in the movie or not. She has a powerful role in the books. she was treated like a maid, but she loved Capricorn.BASTA: our knife-insane friend who loves having a metal knife in his hand. He is Capricorn's must "trusted" uhm, solider or something like that... anyway, he hates Mo and Dustfinger. though, he doesn't die until the second BOOK.DARIUS: Capricorn's first reader. though he stuttered numerously and was thrown in the dungeon. Ended up going home w/ Elinor to help with her HUGE library.Well, there you go. : D I seriously hope you read the books, Inkheart, Inkspell, and Inkdeath. Bye!

Are there swear words in the movie Inkheart?

Inkheart is rated PG for fantasy adventure action, some scary moments and brief language, so yes.
