Don't buy the pleated filters - they restrict too much air, causing ice buildups.

∙ 15y agoIt froze up! Turn it off for about 30 mins or so and then turn it back on. Once you notice the air still blowing but not really so cold, turn it off for a bit.

∙ 14y agoBecause something is wrong. I can`t tell you what because any number of things can cause this. Basically the a/c units capacity and the houses cooling load have become imbalanced.
