Right now I'm reading a book about her, and I think its because she made history in fashion. Back in her days people were making a tower with their hair just to put on a big huge hat that they had to pin to their hair that took a long time but Chanel invented the simple, yet beautiful hat that all you need to do is flop on without the extra pins and work. She also made the tight waisted big dress into a simple one piece- dress. She achieved many other things as well but that's all I read in the book so far.
