The Easter tridium is important to Catholics because it helps us keep focused on what Jesus had to go through for our sins. We have been preparing for Easter through our Lenten practices and now we have come to Holy Week. We must think about what Jesus did for us. Would you be brave enough to die on a cross for our sins?

Because it's a celebration of the most pivotal point of history, the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christianity is based on the Resurrection and without the Resurrection there would be no Christianity, so it is the most important day of the year for Christians.

Easter Sunday is the day that he ressurected him self from the dead fulfilling his promise that he would destroy the temple and rebuild it in 3 days.
