Good is a subjective term. If you're looking for ROI (Return On Investment), Google stock is good because it has consistently multiplied in value. However, if you are looking at the moral and ethical dimensions of stock ownership, questions abound about Google's (along with many other corporations) way of conducting business, such as their concerns for the privacy of their users. In that context, perhaps some would say that owing Google stock is not good.
