Guitar Hero is dead because of the declining sales in the Music Game Genre. Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock was supposed to be the last game in the series developed by Neversoft, with future installments done by Vicarious Visions, who handled all of the Wii versions of Guitar Hero since Legends of Rock, as well the Guitar Hero: On Tour series.
However, because of the declining sales, Activision closed down its Guitar Hero franchise unit sometime in Feburary 2011.
Dead! is by My Chemical Romance, off of Guitar Hero II for the 360.
