All 50 states in the USA are north of the equator. Even Hawaii ... the state with the farthest-south territory ... lies entirely north of about 19 degrees north latitude.
places like Kenya and Tanzania where they have high mountains
Any countries or land or even ocean around the equator are all hot. The equator is the main area on the Earth where you get almost direct heat. States like Florida and Texas are hot, because they are so close to the equator. Countries around the equator like Africa are also hot.
"Above" or "below" depends on how you're holding your map, or how your globe is mounted. But every single point in the United States is NORTH OF the Tropic of Capricorn. The Tropic of Capricorn is half way in between the equator and south pole, and even Hawaii doesn't go south of the equator.
No, the equator is more to the south of India.
because Africa is really close to the equator. even though some parts are cooler because of elevation, most of Africa is warm because of its distance from the Equator
Not even close to it.
NOt even close
Even though it is hot at lower altitudes at the equator, mountains are at a much higher altitude and thus can have ice on them.
China is north of the equator. China extends from around 20 degrees to around 50 degrees. The southern most point of China is about 1400 mi (2250 km) from the equator. Even though the most southern point of China is about 2300km away from the equator, some part of China passes through the equator.
The highest pont in Florida is only 345 ft above sea level. The "snow capped mountain" in Hawaii is Mauna Kea 13,796 ft above sea level. Air is colder at higher elevations. (I used to go to the observatory on Mauna Kea- people look at you funny when you get on an airplane in Hawaii carrying a parka!)
Technically, winter still exists, it just doesn't have much of an impact. You don't have to live all that close to the equator to "avoid winter". Winter in south Florida or coastal Southern California basically means "you might want to wear a windbreaker at night", and Hawaii doesn't even experience that, despite its southernmost point being still well over a thousand miles from the equator.

Good question. Even though Hawaii is a state, all 50 states can sometimes have health problems. You can ask your doctor about it.
Hawaii is the newest state in the US. Rhode Island is not even close.
nope it did not close down, even though they lost it didn't close down
