Mr. Henry DeHeriz Smith (the Silver Tongue) was one of the most notable Divines of the Elizabethan era. He was lecturer at St Clement Danes in London and it was said that he could lead his congregation's emotions to what ever conclusion's he choose. Henry was an Anglican preacher with strong Puritan leanings which put him at odds with the Arch Bishop of that time. Henry became the target of political persecutions with in the church and required the intercession's of his uncle Lord Burghley (William Cecil) first adviser to Queen Elizabeth.

Within the Cecil home one would find individuals such as Sir Edward DeVere, Sir Francis Bacon (both who are suspect of having written Shakespeare's wonderful plays) and Mr Henry DeHeriz Smith decended from Henry l (King of England).
