Jacqueline Auriol was a famous french aviatrix, or to use the French spelling Aviatrice. She held a number of speed records and was the first Woman pilot to attain Mach 2.0 in a government Mirage lll fighter. as stated she held a number of speed, altitude , etc records, as well as surviving a freakish accident (early in her career) which require a large number of cosmetic surgeries to restore normalcy- it eventually worked and oddly the New Jacqueline came out as a Blonde- somewhat like Catherine Deneuve, the pre-accident Auriol was a brunette, Golden Lining. she wrote a book- badly edited down by the Reader"s digest and led an interesting and exotic at times life. she died in 2000 ad of natural causes. Her book was entitled I Live to Fly, but the French original title is best translate- To Live and To Fly as it is written in the infinitive Vivre et Voler. Blast off indeed! Overdrive: Cut-In (high) and watch that Valve cutoff- your hair may change color at Mach Factor 2 ( not max Factor).
