Jesus loves us because He is like the father full of love and compassion for all mankind. God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son. As the father is; so is his son. We are his sheep, he is our shepherd, and like every shepherd they know and love their sheep.
No matter what we do, whether it be good or evil he will always love. It is some of our actions that he does not love, not us.

God loves us because we are here in the world to worship god. God has made us and he loves us more than your parents god loves us more that anything else in the world. So we should be thankful to God that he loves us whether we are bad or good God loves us no matter what.

The result of sin is death, but innocent blood can be spilled as a replacement for the repentant. This theme stretches throughout biblical history. Jesus was the sacrifice so totally pure that he can cover the sins of not just one person, and not just one instance, but every person forever.

To understand what Jesus was you have to understand what God is. He is a God of love. He created us and He loves us. Jesus's whole life was an example of love and kindness. God gave His only son as a sacrafice against the sins of mankind. That proves He is a God of love.

For example, he could also be racist (Mark chapter 7, where he called Gentiles 'dogs' and only agreed to help a Gentile woman when she humbly accepted that description). Jesus told his followers to love their neighbours, but this is an injunction taken from the Old Testament and need not reflect the considered views of Jesus. For Christians, the crucifixion and death of Jesus are seen as the real evidence that Jesus was loving.

Our Blessed Lord was, and is, God Incarnate. As such there is no other way that He could possibly be. What modern men fail to understand is the meaning of the word "love". In Greek, they use four different words for love, and in our modern society, the connotation most often given to it is its most banal and animal "eros". In Christian theology, the "love" we are talking about is wanting the good for the other. Another thing that modern men fail to understand is that to want the best for the other is not always what would give them immediate pleasure or make them "happy" in this life.

The love which Our Blessed Lord has for all mankind is to want the best for them, He loves us enough to tell us the truth, and not allow us to lie to ourselves and end up in hell for eternity. Yes, Our Blessed Lord was loving, He WAS and IS the Most LOVING Thing in existence, He is LOVE itself, He is the definition of love. To say anything else is to misunderstand God, Christianity, and mankind itself.
