I think it may have to do with the latest upgrade of Firefox (9.0.1). This version was released December 21.

But why this upgrade should affect the MediaWiki Sidebar is still unclear to me.

Anyone know what's wrong? See the added related link as an example.

The same displacement of the sidebar happens in several other wikis I'm running (but not all), and many might have the same problem - so please post a quick fix to the problem if you have one!

Does the formula bar in Excel display the value or formula of an active cell?

It displays what is called the Cell Contents. The Cell Contents are what was originally typed into the cell. If that is only a value, then it displays the value. If it is a formula, then you will see the formula that was entered. In the cell itself you will normally see the result of that formula, unless the worksheet has been set to show the formulas. It displays what is called the Cell Contents. When you go swimming and flap your arms it hurts what is that?

It's all to do with inertia. Water is a liquid, and is displaced as you enter it and move around in it normally. But there is a limit to how fast the water can be displaced. When your arm hits the water too fast, at the moment of impact the water cannot move away quickly enough, so in essence it becomes 'solid'. That's why it hurts.

How will you measure volume of a body lighter than water?

In order to measure volume, one normally sees how much water it displaces. If the body floats, the water displaced will be equal to the weight of the body, not the volume. It will be necessary to force the body down so that it is totally submerged. If there is an anchor and chain below the surface, the water displaced when the body is attached and submerged will have the same volume as the body.
