Why is North America warmer in the summer and colder in the winter?

There has not been a data study as of this time to figure out the average temperature of North America. This maybe due to the fact that yearly the temperatures can change drastically as well as during seasons.

∙ 12y agoNorth America is warmer in summer and colder in winter because of Earth's revolution around the Sun. North America is located in the Northern Hemisphere, and in summer, the Northern Hemisphere is directly facing the Sun, therefore warming North America. In winter, North America receives little sunlight, because at this time the Southern Hemisphere is directly facing the Sun, so the Northern Hemisphere receives less sunlight. Hope I helped :)
