If you read closely the final passages of The Bible you may note that Jesus says: "Peter onto you I shall build my church..." or something of the sort, this entitled Peter as the first of popes. Thus Peter was in fact superior to Paul. Nonetheless Paul had a powerfull and everlasting impact on Catholics and Christians around the world.
