Why can't the signals used in radio be used for mobile communication to make it harmless?

They are; mobile phones are no more dangerous than a radio station.

Define downlink frequency?

In the sense of a mobile communication: Downlink frequency is that used by a base station to communicate with the Mobile. In satellite communication also the same theory exists downlink is the return path.

What is the rate of oscillation for a radio frequency?

Radio frequency rates vary from 3KHz to about 300GHz. Radio frequencies are not only used for radio communication but are also in use in medicine and arc welding.

Does any radio frequency used for laser communication?

no. LASER uses light frequencies.

Do cell phones use radio waves or microwaves?

Microwaves are radio waves.Technically, "microwave" is the term used to designate radio communication onfrequencies above 3 GHz. Cellular and mobile data service doesn't operate inthat frequency range. But microwave systems operating in bands between5.8 GHz and 80 GHz are used to link the individual cellular and mobile data sitesto each other, and to the mobile switching centers.

What type of radiation is used in mobile phone communication networks?

radio waves (part of the electromagnetic spectrum)

What is 2g spectrum in Tamil?

Dont know dont care 2G means 2nd Generation(Erandam Thalaimurai) & spectrum is a radio frequency band width this one used for make the communication path between the mobile phone users....

What are 2 most common wavelengths used for public wireless communication?

Infrared (IR) technology and Radio Frequency (FR) technology.

Function of radio frequency?

Radio frequency refers to the range of electromagnetic waves with frequencies between 3 kHz and 300 GHz. The primary function of radio frequency is to facilitate wireless communication. It is used in various devices and technologies such as radio, television broadcasting, cell phones, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, allowing for the transmission and reception of audio, video, and data over long distances without the need for physical cables. Additionally, radio frequency is also used in other applications such as radar systems, satellite communication, and medical imaging.

Which types of electromagnetic waves are used for communication?

Technically all could be used for communication. Although not all may be suited for the use. Here are a few examples: Radio waves - short wave/long wave radio Microwaves - Used for communication of space objects (spacecraft, satellites, radar etc) Infra-red - Used as a wireless communication between devices like mobile phones Ultra Violet - Butterflies use two ultraviolet signals, UV reflectance or absorbance as a communication system X-Rays - High powered telescopes Dont forget fibre optics for the visible part of the spectrum.

What is the use of radio communication?

it is used for the communication

Which types of electromagnetic waves are used for radio communication?

Those are called radio waves. Also, the so-called microwaves, which are basically a type of radio waves (with a relatively high frequency and short wavelength), too.
