TPLO is a surgery that is performed on dogs if their cranial cruciate ligament has ruptured. The surgery helps stabilize the dogs stifle joint, and the surgery is similar to humans having an ACL repaired.

How much for knee surgery for a dog?

Hi, Our dog had an acl (ccl for dogs) repair, TPLO its called. It was $2680. We went with a payment plan option and it took us two years to pay for it. He has done really well with that knee. If you have the funds, it is a good thing for the dog. Unfortunately it is costly. One other forum I read, while researching this for us, said that you can ask for used equipment. This wasn't available for us, but doesn't hurt to ask
